Most of us first learned the art of labeling in school. We studied hard, memorizing definitions and facts, all in the pursuit of “high grades.” Schools taught us to identify and categorize everything, creating tags that set us apart as knowledgeable graduates.
But deep down, we sense a truth that no one ever taught us: no title, degree, or label can ever truly define who we are.
Just as water is not the word “water”—nor is it “agua,” “Wasser,” or “H2O”—nothing in this universe is fully captured by its name. Despite our constant need to classify, every animal, flower, mineral, and human defies complete description.
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.” Life asks us to look beyond labels, to pause, and to fully experience the world as it is.
Instead of always memorizing, defining, and categorizing, we are invited to bask in the wonder of what we see, hear, and feel, embracing the richness of reality beyond words.
