The fact about pains

Pain is a fact of life, it is inevitable, but suffering is optional. You can do something to change the pain by overlooking every obstacle, take control as a force of nature to grow and expand. Act as though the pains doesn't exist. With that you can live again, especially when you're hurt!

Living in the present moment

Living in the Present Moment is important. One way to combat immobilization, however slight, is to learn to live in the present moment.  Present-moment living, getting in touch with your “now,” is at the heart of effective living. When you think about it, there really is no other moment you can ever live.  Now is all there is, and the future is just another present moment to live when it arrives.  One thing is certain; you cannot live it until it does appear. The problem. here, however, is that we live in a culture which deemphasizes the now.. Save for the future! Consider the consequences. Don’t be a hedonist. Think of tomorrow. Plan for your retirement. :  Avoiding the present moment is almost a disease in our culture, and we are continually being conditioned to sacrifice the present for the future.  Carried to its logical conclusion, this attitude is not merely the avoidance of enjoyment in the now, but an evasion of happiness forever.  When the future does arrive it becomes the pre

Epignosis

How are we sure know something? And what is to know?  In philosophy, to know, as claimed by the  epistemologists, is to have a justified belief.  For example, how are we sure that we know it's raining? We can see empirically, the drizzling from the sky. But there is different kind of knowing.   Epignosis is a term that originates from Greek philosophy, specifically from the philosophical school of Skepticism.  It refers to a state of mental suspension or withholding judgment about the truth or falsity of a proposition.  In other words, it's a form of skepticism where one refrains from making a definite assertion or denial regarding a statement or a belief.  Epignosis can be seen as a way to maintain an open mind and avoid dogmatism by acknowledging the limitations of human knowledge. Epignosis is fuller or complete knowledge without ifs and buts . It's a kind of knowing that journeys away from scientific claims. But can we know something when the evidence is not clear? Wha

Affirmation action and the world we live now

Affirmative action refers to policies and practices designed to address discrimination and promote the inclusion of individuals from groups that have been historically marginalized or disadvantaged.  These policies often involve preferential treatment or special consideration in education, employment, or other areas to create opportunities for underrepresented groups. The goal of affirmative action is to promote diversity, equity, and inclusiveness by ensuring that individuals are not discriminated against based on characteristics such as race, gender, ethnicity, or disability.  Critics argue that affirmative action can lead to reverse discrimination or unfair advantages for some individuals. However, proponents argue that it is necessary to address systemic inequalities and promote equal opportunities for all. Application of affirmation action to the world of the 21st century Affirmative action remains relevant in the 21st century world as a tool to address ongoing issues of discrimin

Marx's Marxism and the 21st century world

Marxism is a social, political, and economic theory developed by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the mid-19th century. It is based on the analysis of class relations and societal conflict, particularly between the ruling class (bourgeoisie) and the working class (proletariat).  At its core, Marxism critiques capitalism, arguing that it leads to exploitation, alienation, and inequality. Marxism advocates for the overthrow of capitalist systems through revolutionary means and the establishment of a socialist society, where the means of production are owned and controlled by the working class. Marxism also envisions a transition to a classless, stateless society known as communism, where resources are shared equitably, and production is based on need rather than profit.  Throughout its development, Marxism has been a major influence on various political movements and has sparked significant debate and discussion about social change, economics, and political philosophy.
